This workshop is for the curious, who are ready to take on deeper studies of their roots and increase their precision in practice & teaching.If you are ready remove shame & denial around womxn’s bodies, this is where you’ll want to be. Having clarity about this foundational structure in your own body helps you better relate to our unique bodies, sequence thoughtfully & awaken a new sense of relatability to other fellow vulva owners.
We will be deep diving into anatomy, function, mechanics and energetics with the intention to refine language & understand this foundational part of our bodies.
Topics covered:
Assessing breath in the pelvic cavity
Healing of our sacred pelvis
The pro's and con's of Kegels
Hypotonicity & hypertonicity of the pelvic floor
Practical tools that can help make a difference in how you feel & move in your daily life as a woman.
Curriculum over the 3 week sessions:
WEEK 1 - WHAT & WHERE IS THE PELVIS & PELVIC FLOOR? JOINING THE CONVERSATION ON ITS IMPORTANCE.
WEEK 2 - A MORE DEFINED VIEW OF WHAT PELVIC FLOOR AWARENESS IS AND WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE ANATOMICALLY + UNLOCKING MOVEMENT, BREATH IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE PELVIS + PELVIC FLOOR.
WEEK 3 - PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTIONS + RECONNECTING & HEALING, CLOSING CEREMONY, TAKEAWAYS & PRACTICE.
